WHO’S JULIA FONG?
My name is Julia Hinojos Fong, I was born in Phoenix and grew up in Tucson, Arizona. Growing up in the Southwest, I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by the beautifully painted desert scenery and amazing sunsets. I am currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and enjoy the Southwest Artist’s dream.
Unlike most graphic designers who have no idea how to draw, paint or create art aside from using digital media I am an actual artist who’s drawn most of her life. My talents cross over into illustration, web design, photography, and fashion design. Growing up with a mother who was a artist, fashion designer, and talented crafter, I never went a day or week without drawing or painting from the age of one.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in Puerto Rico, and Egypt for an extended amount of time, but my travels led me back home. These experiences have opened my eyes to the international talent of artists, and inspired me to complete my studies in Graphic Design. I graduated in May 2016 with my degree in Digital Arts with a Design emphasis.
Now I’m enjoying being able to help businesses, professionals, pet owners, and other concepts be able to get their ideas on print, in digital form, on the web and out to the public to be discovered.
My belief is that you can have the best product in the world and be broke because no one knows about your product. Being the marketer of your product is the only way others will discover what you offer and benefit from it.
